What our text program sends, how often, what each keyword does, and how to stop it.
1. About the program
Program name
Westbridge Clinical Studies Study Alerts.
Program description
Notice that a study has opened, or is about to open, in an area you told us you care about, and news about our research programs. These are marketing messages, and we do not message anyone who has not asked us to.
What you are agreeing to
Recurring automated marketing text messages, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of applying to or taking part in any study.
How users opt in
By ticking the text-message box on our study alerts page or the home-page sign-up panel and submitting their own mobile number. We do not accept numbers collected anywhere else, bought from anyone, or entered by a third party on someone’s behalf.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with what is opening in your areas; you should expect no more than 4 messages per month. Messages follow openings, not a calendar, so a quiet month stays quiet.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. What you pay depends on your carrier and your plan. Westbridge Clinical Studies charges nothing for this program, and taking part in it is never required in order to apply to or take part in a study.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to cancel; you will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.
Support
Reply HELP to any message, or call (719) 701-8266 or email info@westbcs.com.
2. Joining
Tick the text-message box on the study alerts page and submit your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of applying to or taking part in any study.
A single text then confirms the subscription. If you did not ask for it, reply STOP and nothing further is sent.
3. How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with what is opening in your areas, up to 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier at your own plan rate. Westbridge Clinical Studies charges nothing for this program.
4. Keywords
- STOP
- Stops every message from the program. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT do the same.
- HELP
- Sends back our phone number and email, and how to stop.
- START
- Turns messages back on after a STOP.
Keywords are not case sensitive. Stopping the texts has no effect on a study you have already joined; the study site contacts you directly about that.
5. Carriers
Supported on major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile and Google Voice.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can arrive late or not at all, so please do not depend on one for anything urgent.
6. Your mobile number
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent with third parties for their own marketing. Information gathered in this SMS program is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
We use your number only for the messages you signed up for. Messages come from Westbridge Clinical Studies only — never from a study site or a third party on our behalf. Everything else is in the Privacy policy.
7. Texts are not medical advice
Text messages never contain medical advice, a diagnosis, test results or instructions about medication.
Please never report a medical problem by text. For urgent symptoms, call 911 or go straight to an emergency department.
8. Help
